Kuziva is a seasoned insurance and reinsurance professional with cross-border expertise in facultative and treaty placements, portfolio structuring, and client advisory. He currently serves as Head of Facultative Reinsurance, where he is responsible for executing bespoke facultative placements, managing large corporate risks, and driving operational excellence across African markets.

He previously served as an Account Broker for Corporate Clients at Minerva Risk Solutions in Zimbabwe, where he managed corporate accounts, oversaw renewals, and conducted risk workshops. Kuzivakwashe has also held key roles at Skybridge Reinsurance Brokers, where he was instrumental in broking operations, technical underwriting, and systems implementation.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Risk Management and Insurance and is an Associate of the Insurance Institute of South Africa. His professional highlights include supporting regional expansion into Zimbabwe, introducing broking system efficiencies, and leading corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Kuzivakwashe formerly served as Deputy Treasurer of the African Association of Young Insurance Professionals (YIPs Africa), reflecting his commitment to professional development and industry growth.
