She began her career as an intern at Grand Reinsurance, where she gained valuable insights into the insurance sector. After completing her internship, she joined Zimnat General Insurance where she spent 5 years dedicating herself to refining her skills and working towards the company’s vision. Prior to joining Mukfin, Placxedes worked as a retail broker at Satib Insurance Brokers Zimbabwe, further expanding her expertise in the field.

Placxedes holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Insurance and Risk Management, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in the field. She is passionate about continuous learning and professional development; she is currently pursuing a Chartered Insurance Institute certification to enhance her knowledge and expertise.
